DAY 1: PARIS – CAIRO

• Departure from Paris to Cairo
• According to arrival schedules, welcome and assistance with entry formalities.
• Transfer to the hotel.
• Check-in at your hotel, and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Pyramids of Giza and New Museum

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Meeting with your guide.
• Discovery of the Giza Plateau with the pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, Mykerinos, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple
• Lunch at a restaurant near the pyramids
• Departure for a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, a new museum, the largest dedicated to a single civilization.
• Return to the hotel, and overnight stay.

DAY 3 – Museum and Islamic Cairo

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Departure for the visit to the National Museum of Antiquities, whose treasures span from prehistoric times to the Roman period, housing more than 250,000 pieces, including the fabulous treasure of Tutankhamun.
• Lunch in the city
• Discovery of Islamic Cairo, visit to the magnificent Citadel of Saladin, where you will visit the Mosque of Mehmet Ali, also known as the "Alabaster Mosque."
• Then free time in the souks of Khan El Khalil, a very colorful bazaar dating back to the 14th century, return to the hotel
• Return to the hotel, and night.

DAY 4 – Saqqara and Dahshur

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Departure for the visit to Saqqara, a vast necropolis measuring 8 km by 2 km, home to the famous step pyramid of King Djoser, with a stop along the way at the Institute of Papyrus.
• Dahshur: you can visit the interior of the two pyramids of our great pharaoh Snefru in Dahshur. The Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid allow you to follow the chronological evolution of pyramid construction.
  
• Lunch
• Return to the hotel, and night.

 

DAY 5 – Cairo - Paris

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Departure for the visit to Old Cairo, a historic district where you will notably visit the Hanging Church (Al-Muallaqa), the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Mosque of Ahmad Ibn Tulun, and the Gayer Anderson Museum: it is a museum made up of two Ottoman houses connected by a small bridge, where you will discover many elements from the collection of a British officer who arrived in Egypt in 1908.
• Lunch
• The return can be scheduled for the afternoon or evening, depending on the return flight times.

NOTE:

N.B: The order of visits may be modified due to local constraints (navigation time, passage through locks, difficult traffic in Cairo, tourist crowds at the sites...).

Payment Policy:

• As soon as our offer is confirmed, a deposit of 30% of the total amount will be required to secure the space and rates. A second payment of 30% will be due 3 months before the arrival date. The remaining balance of 40% will be requested 1 month prior.

Cancellation policy:

• In case of cancellation between 60 and 31 days before arrival, a penalty of 25% of the total amount will be charged.
• In case of cancellation between 30 and 21 days before arrival, a penalty of 50% of the total amount will be charged.
• In case of cancellation between 20 and 7 days before arrival, a penalty of 75% of the total amount will be charged.
• In case of force majeure, a deduction of 10% of the total amount will be applied.

Remarks:

• Any increase in flight prices, entry visa fees, transportation, taxes, and entry fees imposed by the government will be added to the costs. The itinerary is subject to changes based on navigation restrictions and security conditions. All hotel spaces and domestic flights are not confirmed until we receive your final confirmation.
